A dramatic police chase has led to a man being arrested after a woman was found dead at a home in Ipswich, south-west of Brisbane.
A man is in custody and police are searching a dam for a knife after a 28-year-old woman was found stabbed to death at a home south-west of Brisbane.
Officers with the help of Polair then pursued a man in a Toyota sedan, using stopsticks to halt the car at Ipswich Boonah Road at Peak Crossing.The 38-year-old male driver was then arrested as part of a homicide investigation into the woman's death. The Toyota has been towed for forensic examination, while police and SES crews are also searching Wyaralong Dam"Our hearts go out to all involved in this tragedy, especially the family of the victim.
