The thick hail covered car windscreens parked in the streets of Thornbury and Craigieburn.Some remarked on Twitter about the size of the hail, which was described as "pebble ice sized" and "about a centimetre-wide".The Bureau of Meteorology said the small hail was from several storm cells.Continue reading
