Parts of two Glasgow roads are closed for over two weeks due to works.
Engineers from SP Energy Networks are carrying out works on Victoria Road and Maxwell Road in the Southside which will see traffic management in place on the route until June 14.
The improvements include upgrading cables and substations to support the uptake of electric cars, buses and digital services in Glasgow. SP has confirmed that there will be no planned interruption to electricity supplies during the delivery of this work. Albert Santandreu, Head of Delivery, Glasgow District at SP Energy Networks, said: “The uprating of cabling and substations in the Southside is essential to ensure we continue to provide a resilient and reliant electricity network for our customers in the area.
