The Leeds United centre-back has successfully undergone surgery on a groin issue
Pascal Struijk has sent a message to his teammates in their bid for promotion after it was announced he would miss the rest of the season.
Daniel Farke, who confirmed Struijk had undergone surgery, said: "A decision was made; he already had his surgery last Monday, long and complicated, more than two hours, it went well. Struijk is confident his teammates will secure promotion back to the Premier League. Taking to his Instagram page, he wrote: "This week I've had surgery on my injury, the operation was successful. However, of course I'm disappointed because I can't lead my team to the finish line now we're in such a good position.
