Starting next week, kids will be able to come in for free candy, safety blinkers to wear while trick-or-treating and free X-rays of their candy.
Patient First held a preview of new initiatives to make Halloween safer for children and families on Sunday. Kids were able to go to Patient First to get an insider look at the doctor's office, easing their anxiety for when they must come in for a sick visit in the future.
“It’s to provide a comfortable environment for them to come into that way, if they come in here in the future, at least they’re comfortable that they were here. They know what to expect, and they won’t be as anxious,' medical director of Patient First Lancaster, Dr. Carol Strumminger said.If you want to take advantage of Patient First's free candy and other Halloween items, you can go to any location starting Oct. 27.
