Las Vegas Raiders Jakobi Meyers gets recognition from former Patriots teammate Mac Jones.
There are many current Raiders on the main roster that get to go head to head against their former team this Sunday, as the Las Vegas Raiders face the New England Patriots for week 6 of the 2023-24 NFL regular season.Meyers spent a total of four seasons with the Patriots organization. He signed with the Patriots as a undrafted free agent in 2019.
Patriots starting quarterback Mac Jones had the chance to speak on Meyers to the media before both teams go head to head on Sunday. Jones and Meyers spent two seasons together as teammates on the Patriots. Meyers finished with 139 catches for 1,499 yards and scored seven touchdowns with Jones as the Patriots starting quarterback.
Meyers has been a key weapon for the Raiders offense so far in his first season with the Silver and Black. He currently has 25 catches for 274 yards and has scored three touchdowns. He is also second in team receiving yards behind all-pro wide receiver Davante Adams with 442 yards.
