Watch Megan Hilty's 'Crazy' performance from 'Patsy & Loretta'
The movie, which debuts Oct. 19, centers on the friendship between the two country music icons after Cline took Lynn under her wing.
The film, produced by Sony Pictures Television, is executive produced by Neil Meron in his first solo project since the passing of longtime producing partner Craig Zadan. The movie filmed on location in Nashville and was directed by Oscar winner Callie Khouri from a script by Angelina Burnett . To commemorate what would have been Cline’s 87th birthday today , had she not died in a plane crash in 1963, Hilty recorded Cline’s classic, “Crazy” . Also coming out today is Hilty and Mueller’s duet of “Blue Moon of Kentucky,” which will be featured on Madison Gate Records’ soundtrack and Cline recorded in 1963.
