The Australian’s investigative journalist Sharri Markson says Paul Barry has exposed himself as being “radically to the left” and “ideologically driven” by criticising accurate media reports he dislikes. Ms Markson broke a series of exclusive news stories about China’s coverup in the early days of the coronavirus and raised questions about the origins of COVID-19. Mr Barry criticised these reports on his taxpayer funded show Media Watch.
“It is publication like The Australian which hare absolutely in the centre, that are objective, that report the facts without casting judgement about something that none of us can know at this point, which is where COVID-19 originated from ,” Mr Markson said. “How is it that Paul Barry knows more than intelligence agencies around the world that are currently investigating this.
