Former prime minister Paul Keating is “screaming” about the “issues” between China and Australia despite the “mending” relationship between the countries, says Former Labor Senator Stephen Conroy.
“It’s back on track but it’s not using the megaphone – Paul, you’re using the megaphone, you’re screaming about these issues.
“Penny and the government, from Albo who I think is going to go to China soon from all the reports, you’ve seen Don Farrell our trade minister engaging in one-on-ones, you’ve seen Penny in one-on-ones, you’ve seen Richard Marles in one-on-ones. “It’s not going to be bosom buddies – but Paul you’re like a dog with a bone that doesn’t want to accept that the world has changed.”
