Pauline Follett, who lives with cerebral lupus, has had two National Disability Insurance Scheme applications rejected within three years. According to a Disability Advocacy NSW report, people in remote areas of NSW face challenges in providing the evidence required.
Pauline Follett has been struggling to get on the National Disability Insurance Scheme for three years and is "frustrated" with the health system.
Ms Follett said the uncertainty of NDIS providing support had affected her mental health, which had taken a toll on her physically.
