A former chairman of trustees of the hospice, Mrs Hollander had lived in Chalfont St Giles for the past ten years having moved from Moor Park.
Mrs Hollander helped steer the Peace Hospice through its first crucial years when the appeal began in 1991 and served as chairman until 1996. Mrs Hollander, who had three children and six grandchildren, also worked to raise money for Watford Hospital Scanner Appeal end at the end of the 1980s.
