Pearland ISD Superintendent Larry Berger, right, is hosting parent forums at district junior high schools in October. The forums give parents the opportunity to discuss topics such as bullying prevention, academic growth, facility needs, student discipline and privileges and school safety. The events also present an overview of what is happening in the district. Berger said he and the school board wanted to increase and improve communication and engagement with the community."The district wants to bring parents to the table as partners in our district improvement and success," he said.at Berry Miller Junior High School were submitted by parent and included mental health, special education concerns and dress code questions.
Berger said it"will take all of us working together to find solutions to voiced concerns. We can't get better if we do not communicate with clarity and purpose."
