Two people have died in separate crashes in Western Australia within hours of each other. A 67-year-old female pedestrian was critically injured by a black Toyota Yaris hatchback on Kings Park Rd near Outram St in Kings Park, Perth before 7am on Tuesday.

Pedestrian killed in Kings Park car crash. The woman was taken to Royal Perth Hospital but could not be saved. A 30-year-old man driving the Yaris was not hurt in the collision. “He is currently assisting police with their inquiries,” WA Police said. In a separate fatal incident just three hours later, a 24-year-old woman was killed when her Mitsubishi Lancer collided with a Mercedes prime mover truck in Perth’s southeast.
