PC Edward Welch had been pursuing a car in Penge when it hit Makayah McDermott and Rozanne Cooper.
A Met Police officer has been cleared over the deaths of a 10-year-old boy and his aunt during a car chase.
The court had heard the vehicle that was being chased by PC Welch was driven by 19-year-old Joshua Dobby.Met Police: Fatal crash PC just wanted to help people The Independent Office for Police Conduct regional director Sal Naseem said: "Our sympathies go out to Makayah and Ms Cooper's extended family and friends, the three injured victims, and everyone else who has been affected by this tragic incident.
