Four candidates are vying in the Nov. 7 general election for Cumberland County commissioner. DAN GLEITER, The Patriot-News THE PATRIOT-NEWSPennLive’s Editorial Board will meet with candidates for Cumberland County Commissioner at noon Thursday, Oct. 19, 2023, in a meeting that will be aired live on our Facebook page.The meeting with the Cumberland County candidates is one of a series the Editorial Board is holding leading up to the Nov. 7 election.
Carluccio is president judge of the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. She is a graduate of Widener University School of Law, and she has served as an assistant United States Attorney in the District of Delaware and Chief Deputy Solicitor of Montgomery County. Douglas also raised concerns over work conditions at the Dauphin County’s Children and Youth agency. He pledged to work to increase salaries to ensure qualified employees are recruited and retained.
