PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania — A Pennsylvania man has been arrested by federal authorities after he reportedly made death threats online toward the FBI, saying it was “open season” on the agency’s personnel and writing “My only goal is to kill more of them before I drop.”

Federal prosecutors say that last week, the FBI National Threat Operations Section Social Media Exploitation team received a tip from MEMRI Domestic Terrorism Threat Monitor regarding Gab user “BlankFocus,” who was later identified as Bies. Bies is accused of posting violent threats toward the FBI and law-enforcement, writing “My only goal is to kill more of them before I drop” and “If you work for the FBI, then you deserve to die.
