Rescue crews in Ocean City pulled the 56-year-old man to shore and tried to revive him, according to a city spokesman.
A 56-year-old man died after being pulled from the surf off Ocean City on Thursday, a city spokesman said.received reports of two people in distress in the water at an unprotected beach near 12th Street around 12:20 p.m., according to Ocean City spokesman Doug Bergen.
