At least one of the infants was injured, with cuts on both sides of her face and chest. Crenshaw, 21, was charged with two counts of felony aggravated child abuse, but prior to the start of a jury trial, she reached a plea agreement with prosecutors under which she pleaded no contest to two counts of the lesser charge of child abuse without great bodily harm.

The judge, however, sentenced Crenshaw to 18 months community control -- which is in essence house arrest, with Crenshaw allowed to leave her home under certain conditions -- followed by three years probation.
