The New South Wales Premier said he will debate reducing the isolation period for people infected with COVID-19 from seven days, to five days or less, at National Cabinet on Monday.
It comes after the New South Wales Premier said he would push Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to reverse the “unfair” decision to end the COVID-19 pandemic leave payments.

In December, the United States halved its isolation period from 10 days down to five, followed by five days of wearing a mask.
Earlier this year, then-Prime Minister Scott Morrison said Australia's self-isolation requirements were under constant review and based on the latest health advice.
