Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet is set to commit over $1 billion to the state’s flood recovery following the expected release of a report into the NSW Northern Rivers and Hawkesbury floods.
“There is talk of as much as $1.5 billion for a fund to buy back homes affected by the Lismore floods,” he said. Mr Clennell added the report is also expected to address the issue of raising the Warragamba Dam wall.
