Robin Cook uses cutting-edge technology at WA's International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research to measure galaxies, and his research has just been made easier with the James Webb Space Telescope.

The images from this ground-breaking technology are a game changer for astrophysicists like Dr Cook.

"Even though we're trying to put forward accurate interpretations of the world around us, we're also trying to prove ourselves wrong," Dr Cook said. "I sort of pinch myself, that I can go into work every day and … look at the universe and see things that no-one has ever seen in their life before," he said.Dr Cook explaining the physics of radio astronomy to students at the Stargirls STEM camp.
