A woman has been scammed out of $10,000 by her Facebook friend who had been hacked with AI.

The 59-year-old was asked to send $10,000 for a prize in return for $200,000."I really believed I was talking to my friend, messaging him," she said.
"You could have spent that on so many other wonderful things. So I was cross with myself, I was quite humiliated."
