WA police shut down a hotel in Perth's main entertainment district amid a coronavirus breach, telling patrons to self-isolate and get tested for COVID-19.

A coronavirus breach has forced the closure of a Perth hotel.

But the patrons were later told to leave their details with police and then go home, self-isolate and get tested for COVID-19 as soon as possible. Western Australia has strict border controls in place and has not recorded any community transmission of COVID-19 for several months.
