Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has suggested Lidia Thorpe should resign from the Senate after she interjected at a reception for King Charles III at Parliament House.
Mr Dutton said it had "overshadowed" the king's otherwise successful visit and told the ABC's AM he did not "intend to add to the self-promotion she seeks".
