Peter Kay has shared an excerpt from his upcoming memoir where he details working with Jimmy Savile.
Peter Kay reveals what it was like to work with Jimmy Savile as he brands the late offender a "dirty old perv".
Speaking to The Mirror ahead of the release of his new book, Big Adventures on the Small Screen, Kay recalled some of the highs and lows of his career including working with Saville. However, Kay found him to be “very eccentric” and said that he “talked utter nonsense, spouting weird quotes, crap jokes, limericks” and making weird noises. Kay continued: “The only hint I got of Jimmy being immoral in any way was when he met our executive producer, Bridget Boseley.
Kay also had another brush with Savile of sorts during an event at the BBC Media City HQ in Salford, which took place just a day after the ITV documentary exposing him aired. The comic recalled leaving the event early, but not before one disturbing incident took place.
