Rowe took to Instagram to update fans of the veteran broadcaster, revealing he is still recovering from surgery triggered by the discovery of a polyp on one of his vocal cords."He’s off work for a little longer at the moment after an ENT surgeon discovered a polyp on one of his vocal cords which explains his very raspy voice over the holidays!
Overton's fans rushed to the comments to send their well wishes, with many saying they can't wait for the Nine News presenter to grace their screens again. “Aww thank you so much for sharing this story with Pete’s fans who love him for the work he does and looking forward for his recovery from the surgery,” another fan commented.In April of last year, Rowe gave a separate update about Overton's health issues, and revealed why he had been"missing" from Australians' TV screens.
