Health Minister Greg Hunt has revealed more than 200,000 Australians aged between 12 and 15 will have access to the Pfizer vaccine from August 9.

Health Minister Greg Hunt announced on Monday more than 200,000 Australians in that age bracket will be able to access Pfizer from August 9.

"They will be included under phase 1B, which means that they will have access as part of that program going forward. "Or, to be precise, 1,182,446 came forward to be vaccinated over the course of the last week," Mr Hunt said
