Mark Pirie manned the phone as Ibrox diehards reached for the panic button
The Scottish Premiership season is just days away - and that is bringing panic to the Rangers support before the kick off against Hearts.
Scott Gowers, Edinburgh shared the same thought - and is already pitching next manager candidates. He said: "It's clear that the players in the Rangers dressing room don't trust the manager and many want out. I would want to leave too if my manager basically described me as deadwood. The way Clement said all players had their price and publicly stated only Jack Butland was worth his place indicates he knows his time is up at Rangers.
But John Davidson, Kirkintilloch reckons that the concerns are not just down to one man. He said: "Rangers are an embarrassment. Three tops out before season starts and no news on the completion of Copland Road stand. This needs to be addressed." Gordon Ferguson, Kilwinning, fired back with a loaded reference to Hugo Bueno's potential arrival at Celtic from Wolves: "It would seem Mr Gordon Ashley is still consumed and obsessed by what Rangers are doing pre-season You would think with all the supposed multi-millions Celtic have to spend he would focus on that or is the possible loan signing of a Wolves full back distracting him.
