The Australian Grand Prix will be raced a day early because of wild weather forecast for Phillip Island on Sunday.
Local hope Jack Miller, whose best performance at Phillip Island in MotoGP was a third-place finish in similarly windy conditions in 2019, said after practice on Friday he was keen to have this year's race a day early.Organisers said the lessons learned in 2019, when a qualifying session had to be abandoned, helped them with the decision this time around.
