Phillip Schofield holds hospital bedside vigil for mum, 87, after she falls 'seriously ill'
Phillip Schofield has been holding vigil at his 87-year-old mum Pat's bedside after she has fallen "seriously ill", it has been reported.
The pair were photographed together earlier this month as they consoled one another following the news of his departure on a bench in the seaside town of Newquay. “He adores his mother and the whole family is trying to remain hopeful and keep faith that Pat will make a full recovery." In a televised BBC interview, he told viewers: "I do not know a time I will be able to walk out of the door. I don’t have any spirit. My friends tell me, ‘It will get better’. It won’t. Not now. Not this one."
