COVID kept canines and humans away from Bark in the Park until the popular event returned this weekend.

Yes, Devil Dog, a Doberman pinscher named Axe, did make an over-the-top entrance wearing a vampire cape while seated in a towed red coffin. That turned a few eyes. But so did the numerous sombrero-wearing Chihuahua’s, bow-tied Pomeranians and tie-dyed doggies. San Jose’s Bark in the Park returned for its 24th event at William Street Park, Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022.
