Hundreds of people took to the streets during the annual Oakland Pride Festival and Parade on Sunday.

More than 80 contingents rode on floats or in cars along seven blocks of Broadway between 12th and 19th Streets as thousands of people lined the sidewalks to cheer them on. They represented a wide array of community leaders, politicians, service groups, businesses, sponsors and allies. Rainbow-clad pets also joined the festivities.
