Girls from grades 9-12 climbed ladders, ran confidence courses and practiced CPR hands only in a two-day event
The two were among about 25 female high school students attending the NorCal First Alarm Girls Fire Camp at the Contra Costa County Fire Training Center in Concord over the weekend. A team entirely made up of working female firefighters instructed the two-day training session, which was hosted by NorCal Women in the Fire Service.
