Liverpool have just four days to complete their summer transfer business and it appears as though they could well be busy this week.
Endo remains something of an unknown quantity at present having played just 86 minutes so far - with the majority of them being with 10 men - so the need for further reinforcements in the No.6 role is still there for my money. Luis is very much a defensive-minded operator but with the majority of Liverpool's midfield ranks more naturally inclined to attack, there is a real fear that Endo might be overworked at present as the sole 'No.6'. Luis would complement him perfectly. He could be the long-term heir to the Fabinho throne.
A young, left-side centre-back would be ideal and admittedly I'm no European football expert. Would Micky van de Ven have been worth the gamble? Possibly. But now he's at Spurs, why not somebody like Piero Hincapie. The Leverkusen man seems to match up well to his peers at centre-back and at just 21, he's the perfect age.
If Liverpool want to be serious about their Premier League ambitions, they need to finish the mission that they set out on at the beginning of the summer. Ryan Gravenberch is the ideal candidate for, possibly, the final act of the transfer window as a result.
