A pilot has died following a horrific helicopter crash in dense bushland north of Sydney.
The Rural Fire Service, NSW Ambulance, Fire and Rescue and Police, State Emergency Service responded to calls from local residents at around 11:50am on Saturday.

A recovery operation and police investigations will continue on Sunday, while the Australian Transport Safety Bureau will lead the inquest into the circumstance of the crash.A local resident saw the helicopter fly around her property before hearing the aircraft go down when she alerted authorities.
