Some changes in circumstances affect your entitlement to DWP benefits but others don't
Personal Independence Payment is a benefit for people over 16 and under State Pension age who need additional help with daily living tasks or getting around as a result of a long-term illness, disability or mental or physical health condition.
Many people on benefits must report certain changes to the Department for Work and Pensions or risk having their payments stopped. However, there are a number of changes you must report. These include if your personal details, as in name, address or GP, change, and if the help you need or your condition changes.
