Pirates of the Caribbean and Men in Black actor Sergio Calderón has died aged 77.

He also starred alongside Cate Blanchett in The Missing, and more recently alongside Robert de Niro, Barbra Streisand and Ben Stiller in Little Fockers.

In an interview just days before his death, Calderón admitted he ‘loves’ playing villainous characters.: ‘I love to play those types of characters, because people really hate me.‘Because that means I was able to convince people with what I performed.’Calderón is survived by his wife Karen Dakin, his two children and son-in-law, and grandchildren.
