Disneyland riders literally had to walk the plank to escape a sinking Pirates of the Caribbean boat that left them stranded for an hour, according to a viral social media video.
TikTok user Justin James, a professional photographer from Los Angeles, posted a video on Feb. 4 of fellow riders trying to keep their feet dry as water filled the bottom of their boat.
“It was a hot mess,” James wrote on TikTok. “Honestly thought we were gonna swim our way out of this.”The viral TikTok video with 1.4 million views shows the Disneyland Fire Department using a portable staircase attached to a gang plank to help riders from the boat that sank near the load/unload area of the attraction.
