The plane was spotted circling over Merseyside
The plane was on its way from Frankfurt in Germany to John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York on Wednesday, May 8, when it started its diversion to Manchester Airport . Manchester Airport confirmed the diversion was due to a "medical emergency" on board, with the flight diverting to the nearest airport.
According to Flight Radar, the Condor flight left Frankfurt at 11.45am and is scheduled to land in Manchester at 2.52pm. on Wednesday as people took to social media to question what was going on.READ MORE: John Lewis' £26 'hotel luxury' bedding set promises 'five star comfort' One person said: "It's currently circling over my house in St Helens!
