.PPFA and Artsy hosted an auction to raise funds during Miami ArtBasel
On Thursday evening, clients of Artsy—the world’s leading online marketplace for all things fine art—hosted Basel-goers and collectors in the name of philanthropy. Blue-chip paintings and sculptures were scattered throughout the oval-shaped space, and each masterpiece boasted its own QR code, so guests were able to place bids on the works that were either donated directly from the artist or in partnership with their galleries.
All who were in attendance and who placed a bid, whether you won or not, received a tee—a collaboration between world-renown photographer Cindy Sherman and Narciso Rodriguez. Sarah Hoover, Casey Freemont, Annabel Keenan, Charlotte Keenan, and Yvonne Force Villareal, and more were among the guests who showed up to support Planned Parenthood, which is especially important as female rights are currently at stake across many states.
