Security Expert Daniel Lewkovitz says planning in advance for New Year’s Eve celebrations is “key to a happy New Year”, because “nothing ruins a night more than people having a bad time”.

Mr Lewkovitz told Sky News the “controversial” fireworks are going ahead, and it is vital to “take precautions when it comes to dealing with the activities of a large
