Plano Fire-Rescue will receive two pumper fire trucks and an aerial ladder truck to replace old trucks
The trucks are scheduled replacements from the Capital Outlay fund for 2022-23. Equipment is regularly replaced based on age, usage, maintenance and resale value.
Delaying the replacement of the trucks would risk additional maintenance costs and a greatly-depreciated salvage value, city officials said.
