Today’s Wordle of the day caused an uproar among US-based players, who deemed the answer decidedly “too British.”It’s been a trying week for the word puzzle, which was lambasted over Wednesday’s Wordle solution, “trove” — a collection of valuable items — which users also found staggeringly obscure.
