Mr Albanese has revealed more detail around exactly what change the government wants to see made to the Constitution and the question that the Australian people will be asked when he delivered an address at the Garma Festival on Saturday. “I’m hoping to get the support, this is an important moment for the Australian people,” Mr Albanese said.
“I’m very confident that the Australian people will demonstrate the generosity that they demonstrate every day when they care about fairness, and that’s what this is about, fairness and respect.”
