Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says there was “some criticism” from the Opposition about the Prime Minister’s travels for the first time this morning.
Anthony Albanese has made a historic visit to Ukraine – touring three towns outside the capital Kyiv.
“The Opposition’s Immigration spokesman Dan Tehan, himself a former trade minister, told Peter Stefanovic that it was time for Albanese to stop travelling and deal with the issues at home,” Mr Clennell told Sky News Australia.He said Mr Albanese’s next trip will be the Pacific Islands Forum in Fiji next week as the government moves to counter China’s influence in the region.
