Prime Minister Anthony Albanese joined global leaders in condemning North Korea after its latest long-range missile test.

Mr Albanese met with US Vice President Kamala Harris for talks at the APEC summit in Thailand, calling for an emergency session of the UN Security Council.

Ms Harris convened a meeting of leaders of Japan, Australia, South Korea, New Zealand, and Canada to condemn missile firing. The Prime Minister said the missile test “undermines our security” and they are “reckless actions” by North Korea.
