Prime Minister ScottMorrisonMP will today unveil a $96 million package designed to eliminate congestion on Perth’s roads. 2600SkyNews

The Prime Minister will today unveil a $96 million dollar package designed to eliminate congestion on Perth’s roads.

The infrastructure revamp will see upgrades delivered to three bottleneck areas at Hazelmere, Alkimos and Kewdale, with widening works slated for the Kwinana and Mitchell Freeways. Smart Freeway infrastructure will be deployed with funding also set aside for the construction of a train station at Lakelands on the Mandurah line.

The Prime Minister will argue the package will effectively see commuters spending less time on the road and more time with family and friends. “That is why we are investing in public transport infrastructure and removing pinch points and bottlenecks will make a real difference to the lives of people living in fast-growing suburbs.”
