Prime Minister Scott Morrison says he will “lend Australia’s weight” to growing calls for a more independent WHO, insisting understanding the cause of COVID-19 has “nothing to do with politics”. Mr Morrison addressed the nation at a major foreign policy speech ahead of his trip to Cornwall for the G7 summit. “Our discussions at Cornwall will focus on the need to do more to prevent a pandemic like COVID-19 happening again,” he said.
