Asked for a wedding update by Nova Perth radio hosts Nat Locke and Nathan Morris on Tuesday, Mr Albanese reaffirmed the event will likely fall after the election in 2025. "We haven't got to that level of detail. Maybe freckles, or black cats," Mr Albanese said light heartedly. Senior government recently sources toldfinding a time for the event in Mr Albanese's schedule before the election would be a challenge.
He proposed to Ms Haydon at the Lodge in Canberra after the couple shared dinner together at an Italian restaurant in the city's north.
