Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has been further interrogated about his actions at the No More: National Rally Against Gender Based Violence rally in Canberra on Sunday which left an event organiser in tears.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has snapped at a journalist and has been forced to further defend his behaviour at a rally in Canberra on Sunday after announcing a range of measures to tackle the domestic violence crisis.
A video has emerged which reveals the exchange before the Prime Minister's speech, in which he can be heard saying: “Do you want me to speak or not? I'm the Prime Minister". The Prime Minister again refused to apologise to Ms Williams and continued to defend his actions, repeatedly referring back to the vision.
The Prime Minister was fielding numerous questions from the gathered press on the domestic violence awareness rally. "You can look at it, you work at Sky, everyone can look at it ... This is a really serious issue. We’re talking about a woman dying at the hands of their partner every four days and I have no interest in this,” he said.
